Virgin Voyages Help & Support for Entertainment
Entertainment
What type of entertainment can I expect on my voyage?
Every sailing will feature a festival of choice in entertainment made up of bespoke experiences created exclusively for Virgin Voyages. From shows to parties, music and all types of happenings. On our ships, you'll never be bored, pinky promise.
Can I reserve my seat for the show?
While we don't offer seating reservations for our shows at this time, we've designed our entertainment venues so that every spot will feel like the best seat in the house.
Does Virgin Voyages have casinos on board?
Feelin' lucky? Hope you said "yes" because our casinos have a mix of traditional, vintage, and modern games available. So make sure to wear your lucky knickers (but leave the rabbit's foot at home).
Are there special events for singles and married couples?
Although we don't offer programming specifically for married couples, we do have events for solo sailors, such as our Evening Meet-Up, Morning Meet-Up, and the Sailor Services "Let's Set Sail" event.
Are there special LGBTQIA events?
While our LGBTQIA Sailors will certainly enjoy all of our experiences onboard, we do not have specific events for groups.
What kind of theme events are there?
Take what you know about traditional "themed parties" on cruises, and forget about it! We're skipping the 70s disco night and adding thematic elements that run throughout our amazing onboard experiences. From our PJ Party to Scarlet Night, we'll still encourage our Sailors to dress the part on occasion.
Are there movies onboard?
While we're not currently planning to run movies in our public venues, we have a wide array of on-demand options in our Sailor cabins.
Can we get a tour of the bridge?
Yes. As part of our behind the scenes tour, you can see where it all happens! There are several back of house sneak peeks included as well. The duration of the tour is 2.5 hours and costs $200. Once onboard, you can book through the Virgin Voyages App or stop by Sailor Services on Deck 5.
Is there a charge for the shows?
As part of your voyage fare, we've included entertainment On Us! All shows and experiences are free, with the exception of Another Rose and certain eat and drink classes.
Is there an entertainment schedule?
FOMO? NO-MO! Once onboard, our entire entertainment lineup and happenings can be found daily in the Discover > Lineup section of the app.
Are there any activities on board when the ship is in port?
Yes! While in port, we'll feature on board programming for our Sailors.
Where do I go if I want to dance?
On board our lady ships, anywhere is a good place to dance! However, if you're looking for our nightclub, you can head to The Manor on Deck 6 and 7.
What are the casino hours of operation?
While The Casino is an incredible space that is constantly being activated throughout the day, we do have to follow some gambling guidelines. Therefore, our casino games will open up approximately 30 minutes after sailing from the port, once we're in international waters, and it will stay open up until our Sailors are ready to call it a night - but at least 30 minutes before approaching the port.
What can I do during Scarlet Night?
Scarlet Night is a chance for our Sailors to celebrate this fabled holiday in which we pay homage to the special relationship between the moon, the sea, and those who travel on its waves. Scarlet Night is a chance for Sailors to honor this tradition in a multitude of ways, from more passive experiences like listening to music-driven retellings of the tale, dance performances that capture the beautiful movement of sea passage, and even an honorary wedding to commemorate the love between the Octopus Goddess and her Sailor. What you do during Scarlet Night is purely up to you, and every Scarlet Night can be different depending on where you choose to explore.
Is there a dress code for Scarlet Night?
We always encourage our Sailors to “Keep it Red” on Scarlet Night, whether it be a head-to-toe color commitment, or just a subtle splash of Virgin Voyages’ signature rouge - it’s really a night for celebrating. Feel free to celebrate casually, elegantly, or anywhere in between; there are no dress code rules here! The most important thing during Scarlet Night is to come with a willingness to explore, engage, and have fun! And if you want an added layer of glitz - be sure to visit our Scarlet Night “Glam Station” before the party to help you sparkle like the Scarlet Night sky.
How do I get my Scarlet Night photo booth picture?
After snapping your pic, ensure that you’ve entered the correct email address for digital delivery. Be sure to check your Junk and Spam folders, as sometimes they accidentally make their way there. Unfortunately, we do not retain photos and are unable to retrieve after your Voyage has come to an end.
Where do I go for Scarlet Night?
Scarlet Night is a shipwide activation that takes all over Deck 6 and Deck 7 - culminating in the most epic celebratory finale on Deck 15 surrounding the pool (weather pending). Pro tip would be to meet up at the Roundabout on either Deck 6 or 7 at the start time of the event, and follow the Scarlet Night cast off to various activations and events. Be sure to catch the Octopus Goddess herself in the Red Room who will tell you the tale of Scarlet Night in a music driven storytelling experience you won’t forget.
